On exhibition IBC 2004 during September Conax AS presented the new system of conditional access for digital TV CAS7 and concluded the first contract to its sale with the operator of digital TV in Iceland.
The special feature of new system in comparison with previous development (CAS5) is the possibility of organizing the return duct through SMS- communication of cell phone. In particular, in Iceland is planned to organize the load of several films to the receiver of subscriber with the possibility to select one of them, to send SMS with the appropriate code, after which card Conax will open access to the film, and it will be possible to look it, and money for the survey removed from the calculation of subscriber.
