Hello again.
I just have one more question for you. Could you please tell me if the Canal Digital Strong Pairing CAM for DVB-S2 is a CI+ CAM?

Best Regards
Peter

Hi Peter

I spoke with the manufacturer and we can unfortunately not make any guarantees. This has not been tested. And the test is very expensive and long.
No the professional CAM is not the CAM for Canal Digital, this is for multi users systems. used for big cable systems,

Hello and thanks for you answer.

What I would like to know is if I could use your CAM, that you have provided to CanalDigital here in Sweden and supports CanalDigital pairing, in a DVB-S2 dualtuner TV tuner card fitted in a PC. So that I could look at one channel while recording another channel. For that to be possible with only one CAM running against a Dualtuner DVB-S2 card, the CAM has to be able to decrypt more than one transponder at the same time.
But this professional CAM he mentions, is that the CAM you have provided to CanalDigital that supports pariring and that works in TV sets with a built in CI interface for Sattelite, or is it another CAM?
Hope you understand what I am looking to find out 
The TV card I would like to buy is these cards: http://www.dvbshop.net/index.php/cat...l-Devices.html

Hi Peter

Sorry for my late answer.
Please see the below answer from the manufacturer.

""Dear Jesper,
I think you have tested our professional CAM which can descramble multi-channels in one transponder, there is a bit difference in multi-transponders,we haven’t tested this situtation,I want to analyse the stream, could you help to record the streams of all the transponder which need to descramble?and could you tell me the model number of IRD/STB?
Can I ask what this is for?""

Hi.

I have a question regarding how many MTD the CAM can decrypt? (MTD = Multi Transponder Decrypting ist a new technology, to decrypt up to 4 TV channels with only one CAM (depends on CAM manufacturer)
Is it possible to use this CAM with a Dual Tuner DVB-S2 card?

Best Regards
Peter
