First add a user for the Alex client (should always be set to au).
USER = alex1 alex_pw au
Also add the following line to allow for longer login time:
CLIENT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT = 50
Assuming you have the Boxer card in serial port 0 you will have Alex connecting to port 10000. BOXID is not needed.
So in Alex you set the server IP and port (10000), use "alex1" as Login and "alex_pw" as Password.
Also check the Extend SC Timeout checkbox.
No change of ATR needed.
Restart Alex and TV.
If still not working post logs from server.

Also check that the interface card is competely inserted in the card slot. In some cases you might have to cut the corners of the board a little bit.

Hmm... If i take it out, the tv says "no access". And if i insert the interface again, the tv says again "you dont have right to decode audio".
So i do think it is insertet correct.
Also through the TV's CI-menu i can access the menu on the alex2 interface.
I tried to telnet into the debug port 14000 but nothing happens....
Any other ideas?
